SEIDEL COUNSELING INVITES YOU TO BE CURIOUS & BRAVE
Healing Through Self-Discovery

"The best way out is always Through.."
Robert Frost
MY APPROACH TO THERAPY
As human beings we are social creatures. We are hardwired to connect with one another and one of the most powerful ways we connect is through our emotions. Attachment Theory is focused on relationship and bonds between people, particularly long-term relationships, especially those between parent/child and between romantic partners. These emotional bonds inform and influence our patterns of behavior in our relationships throughout our life time. When we can be curious and non-judgemental about who we are and how we came to be who we are, we expand our capacity to thrive in our relationships with ourselves and others. My approach to treating individuals is informed by my training in ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, Schema Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology. My approach to treating couples is informed by my training in Gottman Method, EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), EFFT (Emotionally Focused Family Therapy) and PACT (Psycho-biological Approach to Couples Thearpy).

ABOUT ME
Jodi Seidel, MA, LPC
Hi! I'm Jodi Seidel, I have a great passion for helping Individuals and Couples move through difficult emotional experiences and improve their quality of life. I have worked in the mental health field for the past 12 years. I have extensive experience treating Couples and Indidviduals with anxiety, depression, trauma, BED, complex PTSD and attachment injuries. I practice from a trauma informed attachment focused, interpersonal neurobiology approach. I consider myself warm, open, compassionate and direct. I hold great respect for the healing process and consider it an honor to walk this journey with clients I treat.
I moved to Denver six years ago and lived out my life long dream of "living near the mountains". I love nature and the mountains are where I feel most at home. When I'm not working I can be found doing anything outdoors (especially skiing & hiking) and enjoying life with my family & Ester
